She’s good at: your training and how to progress it, what to eat and how much, recovery and sleep, working around a niggle, fasting, your cycle, and reading your own logged data back to you. She remembers your history and can change your routines and targets — and shows you when she does, so you can undo it.

She won’t: tell you what condition you have, read a blood test, tell you what medication to take or change a dose, or work out what’s causing a symptom. She can’t examine you, and guessing from a chat would be worse than useless.

If something’s new, severe, or frightening — chest pain, breathlessness, fainting, sudden severe headache, one-sided weakness, heavy bleeding — don’t ask the app. Call your doctor or emergency services.
